Who a redesign is for
A redesign is for businesses that already have a website, but one that has stopped doing its job. It may look dated, load slowly on a phone, be hard to change, or simply not bring in enquiries any more. Starting with no site at all? That’s website design.
Whoever built your current site, we can redesign it: another studio, a freelancer, a builder like Wix, or you. The price is the same as a new site, because the work is the same: we design and build a new, fast website. What makes it a redesign is the care we take with what your old site has already earned.
Signs it’s time
- It’s slow on a phone. Most small-business visitors arrive on a phone, and a slow first screen is the most common reason they leave. Run the free website check to see your mobile speed in plain language.
- It doesn’t work well on mobile. Text you have to zoom, buttons too small to tap, a menu that covers the page.
- Enquiries have dropped, and nothing else about your business explains it.
- You can’t change it, or every change means waiting for someone who built it years ago.
- It runs on old WordPress, plugins or a theme that nobody updates any more, which is where WordPress sites are most often exposed.
- Your business has changed: new services, a new name, new prices, and the site still describes the old one.
One of these on its own may be fixable without a rebuild; see website fixes and changes. Several together usually make a redesign the better value.
What changes and what we keep
What changes: the design, the page structure, the code and the hosting. The new site is custom-built by default: ready-made pages with no plugins to update and no database to break into, which keeps them fast. If you need WordPress, we build on WordPress.
What we keep:
- Your web addresses, or a redirect for each one. Every page Google knows about either keeps its address or gets a permanent (301) redirect to the closest new page. Google’s own guidance on site moves calls this mapping the important step, and recommends keeping redirects in place for at least a year, and longer if possible.
- The content that brings visitors. Before anything is cut, we look at which pages actually get visits and searches, and carry those over, with their page titles, instead of starting from a blank page.
- Your email. It runs on your domain’s DNS records, not on the website, so we copy those records first and leave your email where it is. More in how to move a website without losing email.
- Your domain. The site stays on the address your customers already know.
How a redesign works
- Look at the current site. What it runs on, how it’s hosted, which pages bring visitors, and what to keep, rewrite or drop.
- Map the URLs. A list of every old address and where it will point on the new site.
- Design and build. You review the new site on a private preview link before anything changes on your domain. The preview is hidden from search engines.
- Launch. The new site goes live with the redirects, the sitemap is submitted to Google and Bing, and we test that old addresses land on the right pages.
- Watch. In the weeks after launch we check Search Console for errors and pages that drop out, and fix what comes up.
The full checklist, including the mistakes that cost rankings most often, is in our guide to redesigning a website without losing SEO.
Price
A redesign costs the same as a new website:
- Monthly plan: €0 upfront, then €150 a month excl. VAT for 24 months. Hosting, domain renewal, security, daily backups, changes on request and professional SEO are included, and after 24 months the code, files, content and domain are yours.
- One-time: from €550 incl. VAT, priced to what your site needs. You then host and maintain the site yourself, or move it to our care later.
What drives the price of a redesign elsewhere, and how the options compare, is in how much a website redesign costs. All our prices are on the pricing page.
An example
We rebuilt tcp.bg, the website of an accounting firm in Troyan, from the ground up as a fast, bilingual static site with one-tap call buttons, an enquiry form and structured data for Google and AI search.
Why B63
- A web studio in Sofia, Bulgaria, working since 2014.
- Same price as a new site, published, with nothing upfront on the monthly plan.
- Fast by default. Our own sites score 98–100 in Google’s Lighthouse on mobile, and we build client sites to the same standard.
- No lock-in. After 24 months the site is yours, built on standard technology any developer can work with.
