What we fix
Most requests fall into a handful of groups:
- Forms and email. The contact form stopped sending, enquiries land in spam, or email on your domain stopped working after a change.
- Security and SSL. Browsers say “not secure”, the certificate expired, or the site shows signs of a hack: strange redirects, pages you didn’t create, warnings in Google.
- Broken layouts. A page that falls apart on a phone, a menu that doesn’t open, images that don’t load, or a white screen after an update.
- Speed. Pages that take too long to appear on a phone. Run the free website check to see what’s slowing yours down; our guide to why a website is slow explains the usual causes.
- Content changes. New opening hours, a new price list, a new team photo, a page to add or remove.
- Search basics. A site that isn’t showing on Google, a leftover “noindex” or missing sitemap; see why a website isn’t showing on Google.
We work on WordPress and WooCommerce sites and on custom-built sites. If your site runs on a closed builder such as Wix or Squarespace, some fixes depend on what the platform allows; we’ll tell you which.
How it works
- Send the address and the problem. Use the contact form and pick “Maintenance only”, or email us. A screenshot helps.
- Free check. We look at the site and work out what the fix involves.
- Price before work. You get the price and what it covers. Nothing starts until you agree.
- Fix. We make the change, and tell you what we did and anything else we noticed on the way.
Price
Inherited sites differ too much for a fixed price list, so the price is on request after a free check of the site. You always know it before any work starts.
When a care plan is better value
If the same kinds of problems keep coming back, or you change your content every month, paying per fix adds up. Ongoing care covers hosting, updates, backups and your changes in one monthly fee. See website maintenance, and for WordPress sites WordPress maintenance. For a site we didn’t build, the care price is also on request after a free check.
When a redesign is better value
If the site is slow, hard to change and out of date all at once, patching it can cost more than replacing it. A website redesign costs the same as a new site, and keeps your addresses, the content that brings visitors and your email. Moving hosts as part of it? Read how to move a website without losing email first.
